Midwest cosplayers

We have a stand ladies and gents for naka, we have to set up on thursday at 5 and we have a free badge, so if some one who wants to drag some one along we can use the badge for them. Now we just need to work out a work schdule for the stand.

vendor stand hours are:

Thursday 18th:

       5-midnight for setup

Friday 19th:

       8 - 2:30 (vendors only setup)

       2:30 - 4 inspection and Naka Sponsors

       4 - 8 Naka members

Saturday 20th:

       8 - 9:30    (vendors only setup)

       9:30 - 10  inspection and Naka Sponsors

       10  - 6       Naka members

        6 - 12       clean up

Sunday 21st:

       8 - 9:30 (vendors only setup)

       9:30 - 10 inspection and Naka Sponsors

      10 - 4 Naka members

       4 - 12 Final clean up and leaving.

I think I will be putting in the most hours so everyone can have fun too, but if you want to spare some time it would be appreciated. ^^

Also Cinder-Shelly will you be able to work on the four jackets if i get the fabric and the pattren to you by the end of the week?

And Kachie could you buy the badges and we'll give you the five dollars when we see you?

sorry about being slow on the update since the last monday. The rooms are still set at a shaky 70 bucks per person (thank you hyatt for being rediciuosly expensive), does anyone know any body else That would like to come? Tickets are 35 bucks so you better hurry up and buy them before they go up again ><* pre-resigstration ends January 12 and after that they will be 45 bucks *insta-wallet death*

Also I haven't heard anything from the vendors, so I'm going to be calling over the vacation (may their phones be loud) to find out what's the hold up...

Kachie is finishing the jacket and i belive she was going to buy the pattern for Cinder Shelly. So Cinder Shelly do you have the sizes you need so Katie can buy the right packet?

I also want to mentaly bow to Pup for helping with MWC funds, we are currently at 106 dollars and hopefully on the increase (if managers at job would give the president more hours ><*). We have also been discussing and decided that the ones who are in the Ouran host club cosplay will have to suffer and hand over 5 dollars to MWC so we can by the patches for the jacket (the one thing we can't reproduce (again: ><*)) We are sorry for the inconvinence. But it's a small price to pay since MWC is covering the rest of the cost...

Any way that's all i can think of I might be off the air for a while since school is now out, So have fun and be safe.

I just got the rooms booked for Naka Kon! Here's the scoop, it comes out to 560 for a grand total but 70 per person, and that's if 8 go, do we want to bump up the number going to 10? And make the cost 56? it would be five to a room, so it's up to you.

And if the vendors info on Naka doesn't update soon I'm going to call them and see what's up and then figure out what we need to do from there.

*Note!* We may be able to still get the Ouran cosplays! We can still possibly do them for naka, I'm about willing to take Kachie to salina myself to help her poor unhealthy sewing machine. And as long as we can get the pattren worked out we can divide the labor among the ranks!

So things seem to be going up for now. YAY!

.......I know you guys read this thing once in a while but i'd like to know what I can do to get you more motivated to post. I'm kinda stabbing in the dark here and i don't want to poke anything dangerous! Some things i need to know are:

- Cinder-shelly: how are you doing on vendor's items?

- Pup: How is our finical situation?

- Kachie: How are the cosplays coming? Would you like me to scan the Pokemon Lolis?

- Gerp: Have you decided on a cosplay idea? 

- And to everyone: i need a show of hands who is going to Naka-kon. And also who would like to do a meet up, and when? 

I would really like to see some comments, maybe tell your friends about us? Anything to help me out, I'd take suggestions or comments. Email me if you have to...

I would like a count of how many people are going to naka, because currently MWC is have money problems (the president mostly) and i'd liik to know how many are going to see if we can still be a Mawook group or not. What i am think though is that we might hold off on the Ouran untill next year or for AFW. What do you think?

Design a character and submit it to us to use on t-shirts and trademarked items. The deadline is Halloween! So please fallow the guidelines and give us your best and you might get the prize of a bag o candy and 20 bucks!

1. We?re thinking a girl ninja but if you have other ideas please send them in.

2. Has to be simple design so we can easily print it.

3. Must look good in black and white as well as colored

4. Must be appropriate. No hentai shots.

AFW went pretty well. Just some mishaps with a boy, but nothing too major this year. Not like last year. x-x We were pretty organized for the most part, thanks to our President.
